Habitat Management Work Party, Isle of Mull, 4 & 5 April

 

  • What: Join us for a day of practical conservation to improve habitat for one of Scotland’s rarest moths – the Slender Scotch burnet moth. We will be clearing invading cotoneaster which will benefit Bird’s-foot-trefoil, the foodplant of the moth’s caterpillar. 
  • When: Friday 4th & Saturday 6th April, 10am – 3pm
  • Where: Black Beach, Kilninian, Isle of Mull

  • More details:
    • Please note you will need a steady footing as the site is steep and uneven.
    • Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
    • Sorry, not suitable for under 12s due to the nature of the site.
    • Please bring a packed lunch, drinks and waterproofs. 
    • Strong ankle support boots are recommended.
