Kirkandrews Work Party, 28th November
- What: Join us for a day of practical conservation to improve the habitat of one of Scotland’s rarest and most threatened butterflies – the northern brown argus. We will be selectively removing gorse scrub to benefit common rock-rose – the sole food plant of the northern brown argus caterpillar.

- Hand tools and personal protective equipment will be provided on the day. Please wear warm, weather appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
- Please consider bringing a packed lunch and hot drink.
- We will meet opposite Kirkandrew’s Kirk (///tangling.defrost.walnuts) and walk approximately 1.5km to the site. Please be aware that parking is extremely limited so please consider lift-sharing wherever possible
