Butterfly Habitat Work Party, Colvend, 18th February
- What: Join us for a day of practical conservation to improve habitat for one of Scotland’s rarest and most threatened butterflies – the northern brown argus. We will be selectively removing gorse scrub on farmland to benefit common rock rose – the sole foodplant of the butterfly.

- Please be prepared to share vehicles to the farm and walk 1km to the site.
- Hand tools and personal protective equipment will be provided on the day. Please wear warm, weather-protective clothing and sturdy footwear. Please also consider bringing lunch and a hot drink.
