Butterfly Recording Training Day, Easter Ross, 25 June
- What: This free training day is an exciting opportunity to learn about the butterflies of the east coast with the focus being on the rare Northern Brown Argus (NBA). The Easter Ross coastline is home to several small colonies of this elusive butterfly. The day is being run as part of the Species on the Edge programme to support and encourage volunteers in learning how to survey and monitor these important colonies. Following this event, if you have not already signed up as a Species on the Edge survey volunteer, you will be invited to sign up and allocated a colony to survey.
