Butterfly Habitat Work Party, Solway Coast, 25 February
- What: Join us for a day of practical conservation to improve habitat for one of Scotland’s rarest and most threatened butterflies – the Northern Brown Argus. We will be selectively removing gorse scrub on farmland to benefit common rock rose, the sole foodplant of the butterfly.

- Hand tools and personal protective equipment will be provided on the day, but please bring your own if you can.
- Please wear warm, weather-protective clothing and sturdy footwear. Please also consider brining lunch and a hot drink.
